The Moto G (2015) sports a 5-inch 720p display, a Snapdragon 410 processor, 4G LTE support, a 13-megapixel camera (same camera from the Nexus 6) and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, which lines up with the rumors we heard about earlier. Two models will be available, including one with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage and another with 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM. Thankfully there’s also a microSD card slot, so you can expand that storage, too.
Even cooler? This is the first Moto G that’s actually water reverberating. IPX7 protection, which means it can hang out in a meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
It will come in black or white or you can personalize it with Motorola shells with a variety of shells, including a new flip shell. Of course, as we said earlier, it can be customized in the Moto Maker design studio. Accents, back color, front color, memory size and more can all be customized, and you’ll receive it in the next few days.

Why you should buy the Moto G (2015) ?

When you give Motorola $179 (that's ripping the difference between the $179 8GB version and the $220 16GB version) they send you an unlocked phone that will work on any GSM network with no muss and no fuss. You're not even to any funding plan, and you're not giving any carrier a month for the next year or so.
You end up with a phone that's modifying the way everyone thinks about the price of a new smartphone. Like various other new unlocked phones on the market.

Amazing features of the Moto G (2015) :

Moto G (3rd generation)

Camera:

One feature that will surprise you about The Moto G (3rd Gen) was how good daylight photographs are. Previous generations of this phone haven’t had the best camera, but this phone have great camera, it seems Motorola has really stepped up their game and used a sensor was great colour, adequate detail and speedy shooting.

Despite having excellent daylight photo quality, there were a few issues someone noticed with the camera. First, the autofocus in the default camera app was quite poor. It would lock focus on an object then not refocus fast enough. Often. When you touch to focus it will often choose to focus on the object beside the one you tape on. It is possible to mitigate the autofocus issue with a different camera app installed. Second, night time photography suffered from severe noise and detail loss. They were still far better than other phones I've used at this price point, but not as good as higher end models.

Build Quality:

The build quality of this device is excellent for its price range. The plastic it is made of has a nice texture and is firm: there is absolutely no flex or ‘cheap’ feeling to it. It’s great that the phone has waterproof capabilities too.

Screen Quality:

The screen is one of the more disappointing parts of this device. It is 720p, and even with a smaller screen size it is possible to see individual pixels. There is a “screen-door” effect, meaning that the black lines between pixels are slightly visible. That being said, the screen has quite nice color and tonal range and it looks good from most angles.

Performance & Storage:

The touch screen is quick and responsive and the U.I. runs extremely smooth even on the 1GB ram / 8 GB ROM version. I would suggest getting the 2 / 16 GB version when it becomes more readily available but if you’re a light smartphone user the smaller storage space will be enough. This phone offers expansion via Micro SD so you can store media including pictures and videos on it.

Battery Life:

Battery life is decent. It nearly matches any flagship device, which is quite astounding at this price point, though the heaviest of users still may not find it enough. It's worth noting that there is no removable battery so if you do run out you will need a portable battery or a wall outlet.

Audio Quality and Signal:

The speaker wasn't as loud or clear as it could be, but it was better than many other budget devices.Media audio through the headphone jack was fine. Wireless stayed connected with no noticeable lag nor signal loss.
Moto G (2015)

-Excellent build quality
-Looks and feels like a far more expensive device
-Stock android runs very fluidly
-Great daylight photographs
-A real brand name means better support and warranty service

Cons:
-Some minor autofocus issues
-Low-light photograph quality is lacking
-1GB of Ram on lower end model can be limiting

Customer Reviews and Scores:
65 customer reviews at the time of writing and they had awarded the Moto G (2015)  4.4 stars out of a possible 5 on average.
The customer reviews on Amazon are positive overall, but there were a few niggling points raised. Someone said, '' First, the autofocus in the default camera app was quite poor. It would lock focus on an object then not refocus fast enough. Often, this meant I would miss focus. When I touched to focus it would often choose to focus on the object beside the one I tapped on. It is possible to mitigate the autofocus issue with a different camera app installed. Second, night time photography suffered from severe noise and detail loss''

The Moto G is an excellent low-cost ($179 unlocked) smartphone running the latest version of Android (5.1).It's also waterproof up to 3 feet at 30 minutes. So it can be dropped in a sink or bathtub without any damage to the phone provided the backing is secured to the properly.Motorola is taking a unique approach to the Android phone market by delivering good hardware at a low price without a carrier obligation.
